Retreat Facilities
Urban Immersion Service Retreats include meals, lodging, staff leadership, educational materials, and a valuable volunteer experience for groups ranging from 5 to 50. The retreats are housed in the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches' Russ Ewald Center for Urban Service, a 50 bed facility that offers kitchen and shower amenities.
Russ Ewald dedicated his life to rebuilding the inner city by investing in its people. The Russ Ewald Center for Urban Service continues that investment, educating volunteers about real-life urban poverty and translating that knowledge into hands-on action.
